Hello! I’m Rosie, the person behind Notes of Bacon.
I’m an English food photographer living in Amsterdam, and I love bacon (who knew?), cooking, travelling and eating. Especially eating.
Even at a glance at the website you can see I’ve got a slight obsession with Asian food. This will have come from being born in Singapore and subsequently living in Malaysia and Hong Kong before landing back in England aged 11 or so, followed by some food-led travelling around South East Asia more recently.
What I’m going for on Notes of Bacon is delicious, cookable-in-small-kitchens recipes that you will want to cook in your kitchen, and the occasional big project for special occasions (Bao anyone?). Despite my bacon obsession, the recipes don’t all contain bacon and I even have some that happen to be vegetarian (gasp!) so have a rootle around the blog and hopefully you’ll find something for you.
Thank you for visiting Notes of Bacon; if you have any ideas, tips or questions, please let me know – I love to hear what you think and see photos of your creations, so if you make any dishes from the blog, please send photos!
If you’re interested in contacting me as a food photographer or viewing my portfolio, please send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org
